Monique has been the kindest, most patient and understanding human being (maybe angel*, actually) from the moment I moved into my current rental.
I had never heard of Us Real Estate before and was incredibly nervous due to experiences with past real estate companies and agents, but at every single step of the rental process, Monique has been nothing short of a lifesaver. And I don’t mean that to sound dramatic and therefore have the comment lose its credibility, but I genuinely mean that. I am spoken to like a person, rather than an income - interactions always feel very human (I sign off every email from me and my dog, and both me and my dog are greeted in every reply). Even when I have forgotten my key, or struggled to make things work, Monique has just been tremendously compassionate. Every problem feels like a thing we’re solving together, rather than the usual ‘tenant versus real estate’ tension. And there always seems to be a comment or gratitude included in Monique’s emails, addressing a positive in any situation or discussion.
The otherwise incredibly stressful ordeal of renting on my own with chronic health issues and very little support, has been made insurmountably better simply due to Monique’s empathetic approach (which has genuinely contributed to improvement of symptoms and coping).
